My first time out all dolled up was to a Madonna concert with my cousin Renee when I was 16. I'd been dressing up with her since I was 13 as was pretty much always a teen TV when I was there. We thought it would be fun, so we dressed in her room as two Madonna-Wanna-Be teen girls. We went to the Limited and got skirts and neon tops and then hit Spencer's for accessories. My Aunt even helped out by putting our hair in hot rollers and blowing it out and gifting me the pair of her black heels I learned to walk in.
